Wylex REC2SPD 100A Double Pole Isolator Switch with insulated plastic enclosure and Type 2 SPD is a standalone unit designed to prevent interference or additional tap offs, with a two part cover that can be sealed to only allow access to the installer and supply authority.     

REC2SPD provides protection against electrical surges intended for installation on the load side of a domestic consumer unit for properties that fail a risk assessment to meet 18th Edition compliance. Type 2 Surge Protection devices help limit transient overvoltage due to lighting or switching.
